Alexis D'Amato
Director of Government Affairs
Alexis manages client portfolios in the small business, entrepreneurship, and economic development arenas where she develops policy and legislative strategies, oversees major client projects, and oversees policy communications relevant to her work. Alexis also oversees tracking, monitoring, and activating across relevant legislative and regulatory developments for her clients and plays an active role as an “in-house” policy team member.
Experience
As the Director of Government Affairs, Alexis supports Prism Group clients in achieving their federal advocacy, policy and government affairs goals. Alexis works to support clients in the small business, entrepreneurship, procurement and government contracting portfolio. Alexis is experienced at convening policy and advocacy related events including annual conferences, client fly-ins, and policy briefings. Prior to her current role, Alexis held the position of Manager at Prism Group where she supported Prism Group's federal government affairs clients, procurement clients, and policy communications.
Alexis is a graduate of the George Washington University with a Master of Arts in Political Science (class of 2021). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global and Comparative Studies from Birmingham-Southern College (class of 2019). She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa society and Women in Government Relations.
