Casey Elliott works with clients to communicate their stories and key messages to the public and policymakers. She devotes her time to working with nonprofit organizations, trade associations, and corporate clients throughout the country, with a focus on major issues at the state and federal levels. As a public relations professional, Casey has secured media coverage for clients in some of the nation’s top media outlets, including ABC News, The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Rolling Stone and USA Today. She develops thoughtful and hard-hitting social media campaigns and blogs that deliver key client messages to tailored audiences.

Public relations, healthcare, workforce and entrepreneurship, sustainability, environmental conservation, transportation, mental health, and substance use disorders, and chronic diseases.

Experience

Casey has over a decade of experience working on behalf of nonprofit organizations, trade associations and public affairs clientele. Casey previously led communications at the Addiction Policy Forum in Washington, DC, in addition to working with a public affairs firm where she helped clients implement technology solutions to boost their federal communications and advocacy projects.

 

She started her career in Chicago, Illinois where she worked with organizations on state advocacy issues, including legislation on public health, professional licensing and voting rights. A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, Casey holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science and history from the University of Utah, and a Master of Arts degree in strategic communication from American University.
