Jamiyl brings a wealth of experience in government relations and legislative assistance to Prism Group. Prior to joining our team, he spent two years at Mercury Public Affairs in Washington D.C., where he played a crucial role in government relations.
Experience
Before his time at Mercury, Jamiyl served as a senior legislative assistant in the office of Congressman Donald Payne (D-NJ) for eight years. During his tenure, he provided essential support for the Congressman's initiatives on the House Committee on Homeland Security and the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.
Jamiyl's dedication to public service extends beyond Capitol Hill. He also worked with Mr. Payne, Jr. during his presidency of the Newark Municipal Council from 2006 to 2012.
