Olivia Lucanie is a government affairs professional with experience developing advocacy and legislative strategies in both federal and state government affairs. She also manages coalitions, engages in grassroots planning and activation, and performs legislative analyses to meet client objectives and goals. Her policy portfolio includes a variety of issue areas, primarily on food and agriculture, education, workforce, and healthcare.
Olivia was formerly an Associate at Prism Group, where she focused on healthcare, education, and workforce policy.
Prior to joining Prism Group, Olivia worked for Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ), where she helped coordinate hearings for the Congressional Black Caucus Emergency Task Force on Black Youth Suicide and Mental Health. Olivia also was a chosen speaker at the United Nations 60th Commission on the Status of Women to discuss her work in expanding access to feminine hygiene products in low-income communities.
Olivia graduated with honors from The George Washington University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a minor in Economics. While she attended, she was the President of the Milken Undergraduate Student Association and a board member on the Student Affairs Advisory Board for the Milken School of Public Health.
