WHAT WE'RE WATCHING:
Oklahoma legislators are returning to the legislature today for a special session. Governor Kevin Stitt (R) called for a special session last month to deliver tax cuts to Oklahomans. Ohio’s Department of Education and Workforce begins operations today, replacing the former Department of Education. While the new department will address workforce issues in addition to education, there has been some controversy over the department’s overhaul, with lawsuits from former Department of Education members alleging violations of the state constitution.
