Welcome to the March Edition of our Small Business Memo.
As we prepare for the cherry blossoms and much more sunlight this spring season, small business policy continues to rapidly evolve. New legislative actions, regulatory updates, and federal agency priorities are reshaping the landscape for entrepreneurs and small business owners nationwide.
During the month of March, Kelly Loeffler, the newly confirmed Small Business Administrator, issued her first memo outlining her top priorities for the SBA. Meanwhile, the Trump Administration has paused enforcement of Beneficial Ownership Information reporting requirements, providing much-needed relief for small businesses adapting to the Corporate Transparency Act.
Additionally, the Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program, highlighting its critical role in expanding digital infrastructure to benefit small businesses in rural and underserved areas.
As always, our team at Prism Group is committed to keeping you informed and ahead of the curve. Read on for the latest updates, in-depth policy analyses, and a breakdown of what’s happening in the month of March.
Sincerely,
Sincerely,
The Prism Group Small Business Team
