Tell us about yourself/your work background.

I am a first-generation American originally from the Caribbean island nation of Dominica. I served in multiple positions within the NYC office of United States Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer, most recently as a Community and Constituent Liaison. In that role, I helped New Yorkers navigate the bureaucracy of federal agencies including the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and the United States Postal Service. I was also the head of the competitive internship program for Senator Schumer’s NYC office where I hired, trained and supervised over 200 interns.

What is your favorite part of your job?

I have to say my colleagues at the firm are extremely supportive, friendly and eager to help me be successful in my role. My colleagues and the cooperative, caring environment they have created and maintained at the firm is my favorite part of the job.

What are your favorite hobbies/what do you do in your downtime? Do you have any pets?

I love cooking, baking and spending time with my family. I’m always looking for new recipes to try and enjoy testing cuisines from various cultures.
